New BB user with a questions

Hi everyone, my name is Brian, and I am a student at Clemson University. I just got my first BB today; an 8307e through Verizon.

I've managed to hook up my yahoo e-mail to it, and am now working on trying to upload a calendar/organizer. I am technology illiterate, and I hear a lot about people syncing with Outlook. I have an IBM laptop with Windows XP, but do not have Outlook. I use Google Apps for Education/Gmail to keep a calendar and schedule, but am not sure how to sync it with my BB. Any advice/help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Don't know anything about google stuff, but others can help you there. However, you can sync your PIM info on the BB with Yahoo using latest desktop manager, if you care to.

I don't think the Google Calendar is supported, so don't believe that will work. But like aiharkness said Yahoo! is supported.
