Default Hello from Virginia - 11-14-2007, 09:44 AM

Greetings everyone,

Just purchased my first BB!! I have the VZW 8830. I was considering trading it in for the new pearl because I am still in my 30 day trial period, but after going to the store and trying the pearl out I found that I wanted to stick with my 8830. Now that I decided to stick with it comes the fun part, learning, playing and customizing. Hoping to be able to use these forums for info and help if needed. Any tips are always appreciated for a newbie!!

Welcome to the group, JJ121! My advice is continue what you are doing: play with it. Work your way through the applications, open options menus, and drill down, find out what's there.

Thanks, that is exactly what I'm doing. Although I think my fiance is about ready to kill me.
