Hey everyone whats up.

Well as you can tell I'm a new member (ok ok a "newbie" ) and also new to BlackBerry's. This forum looks SUPER and full of great stuff that will take me quite a while to learn but I am determined.

A little about myself, well I'm happily married with 2 children ages 7 years old and 2 years old. By day I am a Corporate Sales Executive for Tiger Direct.ca and by night, I'm an avid drifter hence my user name. I own an R32 Nissan Skyline GTS that is my daily driver/project. I am a moderator on my local Skyline board and I've been in to drifting for approximately 5 years now so please no FnF comments .

As well I enjoy my PSP that runs on custom firmware so I'm hoping between my experience with that, learning my new BlackBerry will be a little easier.

So theres a bit on me and my life. Let me say that I am really looking forward to being here and talking with all of you, this seems like wonderful place full of great people based on the posts I've read so far. I'll try not to ask any questions that are totally obvious but bare with me b/c again, I am new to this. Don't worry though, I'm WELL aware on "SEARCHING" and would only ask if i do not understand or just couldn't find answers. Besides the FAQ if anyone has any good thread suggestions for me to read, I'd be happy to check them out.

Don't be afraid to ask questions. Aside from the FAQ, check out Stinsonddog's tips linked in my signature... scroll down to and download and print the PDF for the 8100 model. Sit down and read them as you play with your BB in your hands, pracitcing what you read. You will be months ahead of the learning curve.

JSanders - I did what you suggested and I'll be printing off that PDF today. My Pearl won't be arriving until early/mid next week but at least I can get a head start on learning things.
