Question Unlocked 7290 with no SIM

Please Login to Remove!

I have just received an unlocked 7290 with no SIM.
Is there a way to use a free wireless connection from our local Library? It doesn't seem to have a browser in it and im not sure how to put one on it.
Is there a way to get a SIM which doesn't need to be connected to a Internet provider?

Wirelessly posted (8700g: BlackBerry8700/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

There is no wireless LAN (wi-fi) capability on the 7290.

To get the native blackberry browser, email, etc you will need a blackberry data plan through your mobile carrier. See See the articles there on BIS, and you might also want to look at the article on using a blackberry with a generic data plan.

No wireless on the 7290. Must have a data plan from your carrier. If you had a SIM not connected to an internet provider (i.e. carrier) what use would it be? (sorta like cutting the plug off an electric lamp. You got a lamp, no juice!)
