What's the most memory you all have put on your 8830 with no issues? Will a 4gb microsd work pretty good?

Also, I installed DM 4.2.2.12 [Mar 19 2007] that came with the installation cd from Sprint. I here 4.3 might solve some of my Switch Device Wizard issues. Do I need to uninstall 4.3.3.12 or just go to the Blackberry website and download 4.3?

4Gb card will work fine in the 8830.

You don't need to uninstall 4.2 to install 4.3. However, I still wish I hadn't upgraded to 4.3. I have more Switch Device Wizard issues with 4.3 than I did with 4.2.

Personally I'm a fan of uninstall, reboot, install ... but an in-place upgrade to 4.3 will also work. The in-place upgrade will also carry settings over; the uninstall / install will not.

Well, I find myself needing to upgrade to 4.3 in because with 4.2 I'm unable to use Switch Device Wizard with my Palm Desktop 4.2 software.

Will switching to DM 4.3 resolve this issue?
