Hi,

I'm about to become a Blackberry 8703e user once activated tonight (Verizon $29.99 web and email package) and have an email question.

Can I use the desktop redirector on my work computer (I have permission; and using Outlook) to forward my work emails but sync my calendar and contacts with my home computer only?

Reason: I only need my work emails, I don't want to leave my calendar and contact information on the exchange server.

Sorry if this has been asked before... did a search but didn't see it.

Thanks,
Mike

Mike, I don't know the exact answer to your question, but want to welcome you to the group.

I can tell you the word here on the forum is redirector is flakey. Even if you get it working the odds are probably that you won't be happy with it. See what others say. And see blackberry.faq on methods of receiving email on the blackberry. If you have BIS and your work email can be accessed from the internet, BIS internet email may be an option for you. See what others here say.

Good luck.

Yes, you can do this. I have done this before and it works fine.
