Please Login to Remove!

I am upgrading from my sidekick 3 to the new Blackberry 8120. Cannot wait My question is how fast is the internet?? On my sidekick it was like running on a old modem. And what's the difference between the 8120 and 8130?? My friend has the 8130 is that one better?? Or is the 8120?? Sorry for so many questions.

Internet will be about same speed perhaps a bit faster

8120 has WiFi
8110 had GPS

Otherwise same device

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry Pearl 8100)

The 8120 differs from the 8130 in that it offers internal Wi-Fi instead of internal GPS. The internal Wi-Fi allows for faster web browsing if you use the Wi-Fi browser and you are connected to a wireless hotspot. Otherwise browsing on the EDGE connection will be about the same.

Welcome to the group, Iamme!

The others pretty much covered it. But, for what it's worth, I find EDGE fine for browsing with the blackberry browser. I don't tether. Depends on what you need.
