hi
I've just done a cut-over to new server hardware with an upgrade to SQL 2005 express from MSDE 2000. It seems to have worked, ALMOST.
Sending and receiving on BBs works. However when i open BB Manager, i get an error message:"Failed to open the default message store using the MAPI profile 'BlackberryManager' You will not be able to send messages from Blackberry Manager by mail." It pops up the MAPI page to edit the information which is prepopulated with the correct Mail server and BESAdmin service account, however i cannot click the check name button as it's greyed out.
I've also seen a calhelper error in event viewer: "Reporting queued error: faulting application CalHelper.exe, version 4.1.4.40, faulting module mapi32.dll, version 6.5.7638.1, fault address 0x00041011."
These folks here seemed to have a similar problem but it was never resolved:

I've tripled checked the permissions everywhere. However in Active Directory and on the Exchange server they were working before on the old BES and that info has remained the same so it shouldn't enter into the equation.
the BES service account is a local admin on the new BES box, has log on locally, and as a service permissions; Sysadmin, dbcreater and dbo in SQL on the BESMgmt db. WIN2K3 SP2; Blackberry Pro 4.1.4.3.
Exchange 2003 sp2; CDO.dll are same version. MAPI32.dll same version, I've searched on RIM's site and Google and am at a loss.
If anyone has suggestions, i'd sure appreciate it!
thanks!
