Default whats up everyone - 04-30-2008, 02:00 AM

whats going on everyone i just purchased a pearl 8100 from the internet and it should be here on the first...cant wait to get it..all the mods look awesome to do on this phone, seems like it should be a lot of fun to finally have a phone i can customize to my liking. quick question though, how good is the internet on the edge network..hopefully its not too slow but i think it should be fine

internet from the device? web pages on the device render just fine, and while its slower than CDMA networks it usually isnt that big a deal. Tethering is much slower. While CDMA has DSL type speeds, its comparable to dialup (speeds 100-400kbps with the avg around 150ish). welcome to the forums

i recieved the phone today and absolutely love it, already downloaded opera mini and color pearl..both are awesome programs

do most people save their programs to the phone when they download them or do they buy the micro SD cards and save it to that?
