Default Hello! - 04-30-2008, 12:07 PM

Hi... I'm new and getting my first Blackberry any day now! I ordered the Curve 8310. I'm anxious to learn all I can!

I'm an avid Gmail fan and I'm looking forward to seeing how that works! I'd like to use the Gmail app. Any advice?

Welcome to the group, Gretchen!

EZ is right. . . See http://blackberryfaq.com and http://home.comcast.net/~tamsterra/index.html.

I'm not a gmail user, but there is much here on the forum and I'm certain questions you have will be answered here or at the faq.

When you get the blackberry, spend some time just playing with it. Drill down through all the menus and go through the options. Have no preconceptions about how it 'should' work, but instead learn how it does work. Blackberrys are different.
