Hello 8703e user here

Hello,

My Name is Joe and I am from North East Ohio.

I've registered to this forum in hopes of learning somethings and because I am having some problems with my 8703e

I received the phone and activated it on thursday afternoon. It worked great.
up Until saturday (caturday) when It started having absolutely no luck with making phone calls.

Bluetooth is off, It's not muted, Radio is On, I can SMS fine..

I've tried pulling the battery a couple of times and have "wiped the handheld"

Thanks for any input you can give me.

Does the device show 1X, 1x, 1XEV, or some combination of those at the top of the screen?

Oh, I forgot to mention, I'm trying to call from my house. Also, I tried when i got some food at chipotle.

1xev means you won't be able to do much.... you said you tried a battery pull and wiped the handheld.

I'm not sure if this is necessary on a Verizon device after a wipe, but did you try a *228 to reprovision it?

I do this quite often on my pearl.

I tried doing that.. I couldn't hear the dialog but i know it by heart..

It said, "Programmed sucessfully."

I then tried to call my voicemail- No sound.
This is weird because I've been texting all night.
