My honey just got a new blackberry curve from Verizon, and I signed up so we can both learn more. I'm thinking about picking one up when my contract is up in the next few months.

Welcome to BBF. Verizon is having promotions and allowing a lot of people to upgrade early. My 2 years wouldn't have been up til next April, but I was just able to upgrade to a Curve a few days ago. You might check with VZW and see if you are eligible.
