just thought i would publicly say hi to everyone on the forum. i got my first BB device a week ago, and since then i have googled for answers and this forum would usually be the first to pop up. since it seemed to always have the answers i was looking for, i figured registering would be wise.
i'm a long time T-Mo user who moved to Las Vegas recently, and have watched my voice usage spill over 3 months in a row now due to working off-site. because of this, i reined in my costs by going with "hotspot @ home" and needed a new device that's UMA capable. figured if i'm gonna be spending $200 or so on a new phone out of my upgrade cycle, i'd go all out and get a Curve.
considering i'm a huge gadget freak, especially with cellular phones, i cant believe i never traded in one of my many smartphones years earlier for a Blackberry. usability is beyond any WinMo offering with its simplicity and reliability, the design is aesthetically pleasing compared to anything HTC has to offer, and the heft and feel of the phone built with quality materials is excellent. it exudes class and functionality while in an attractive skin.
why i had beat myself up with hacked phones and complicated smartphones for years i do not know.
anyways, i'm what you would classify as a "power user" although i'm new to the BB.
