I just joined the forums tonight, and I thought I would say hello to all of you! I am the proud owner of a 8300, and I am completely in love with it. Anyway, I was searching these forums all day yesterday, because I accidentally dropped my blackberry into a bucket of water. Thank god it survived the incident after 24 hours of drying out, but I decided to become a member after that near death experience! Anyways, hope to see a lot of you around the forums! :D

Thank you all for the welcomes! And yeah so far so good since it is all dried out (Knock on wood though!), but thank god I have a backup battery. But it works like new, and I do have to say that it is VERY clean! haha
you might want to set it aside to let it try a bit longer...water finds its way into everything. If you can, put it in a warm/dry place overnight. On top of a cable box/computer or something like that. Not too much heat though.
