Smile Newbie looking at the Pearl - 06-16-2008, 01:42 PM

Hi all,

I've just joined the site and am looking for some advice on whether the extra costs in getting a BB would be worth it?

I'm a mature student psych nurse living on a bursary so money is unfortunately the over-riding issue but I was looking at the BB as an investment to help organise myself. I don't email a huge amount, I Facebook a little bit but like the option of being able to use the web etc when I am out and about or away camping at the weekends. In the UK on Orange, the BB plus data will be around £10 a month more - is it worth it? Have any other students got one and found it to be invaluable? The general feel I get from lurking in the forums is BB is the best thing since sliced bread, but would people who use them for personal use recommend them?

Sorry to waffle on but I would appreciate any comments before I take the plunge. It's an 18 month deal and a bit more expensive than what I am paying just now. Thanks so much

Thank you... I could sync all this to my Mac at home as well, I think.
