Default bought new blackberry 8800.. need help - 06-25-2008, 07:38 PM

okay, i bought a blackberry 8800 online. It will not power up. there is a constant red flashing light. uNTILL I TAKE IT OFF THE CHARGWER, IT STOPS ONCE TAKEN OFF AFTER LIKE 3 FLASHES.i have tried some stuff i might think of. i was looking for some more advice, so is there anything you have to download for a blackberry to work??? if anyone has some suggestions please post here with pretty good instructions because i am not that good at following them, thanks and have a GREAT DAY.

can try wiping it with JL_CMDER then re-loading the OS
