technically I'm not a new user, I have had my BB World Edition for about 7 months. I am so frustrated with it that I have stopped even trying to figure out how to use the thing. I figured out how to get my email, but I get it via the little email icon as well as through the Gmail icon, still haven't figured out how to just get one. I get text messages, and I can send them. Not able to view pictures or video sent to me in any form. Not from the email icon mail or the Gmail icon mail. Any link that I need to follow ... forget it. I either get, site timed out, no authorization for the site, some error, try again later, or just nothing at all. I have a media icon that says music, video, ring tones, and pictures. No able to do anything with any of them. Yes I have gone through the trouble shooting guide. Still, i can use none of it. I have the full Internet/data package from Verizon, when I call for help from Verizon they tell me to go to ..... blackberry site and its really easy to use. Well WTF! Not with this phone. I basically pay so i can call, text, and read email. Is that all this phone does??

have you tried going into the verizon store? I've had awful luck on the phone with cell companies trying to explain how/why things happen.

I really hope this doesn't come off as rude, but you may want to check with your local Verizon stores. I know a lot of them offer a free class on getting to know your new smartphone, and usually hold it on evenings and weekends. You may want to use this as your first step.
