New here, Just got my Blackberry Curve yesterday. Back in November I had originally purchased a HTC Touch Dual Windows Mobile phone for myself as it came recommended to me by a friend. While I enjoyed it, it turns out I was not able to connect it to my email account at work because were running a BES? Now I have no idea what that is or means, but needless to say it made the HTC pretty much useless to me. Luckily enough, my wireless provider was gracious enough to allow me to swap phones, so thats how I ended up with the Curve as of yesterday. So they managed to set up my personal email account from my ISP on the phone, which is cool. Tomorrow's mission though is to get our IT department to set me up with my corporate email. Should be interesting.
While I was a bit intimidated at first by my new BB, ive started to adjust to it, wish the keyboard keys were a bit bigger, I was a little disappointed with the lack of "flash" and pizazz that the BB has compared to the HTC, but that feeling has pretty much gone away now that I've seen all the customization options I have with this thing.
Ive spent a majority of the day reading post after post on here, found a few cool applications, and i've learned alot already through this site, so i figured id have to sign up, I've got a feeling I'll have some questions
My other biggest problem I think i might have is I have a Vista laptop for personal use... without Microsoft Outlook. Just using the regular windows mail program. At work we use outlook, so I should be okay there... So far so good though i guess!
