Hello to everyone in the Forum. This is my first post here and I am sure it will not be my last.

I have a Blackberry Bold that just got activated yesterday. I am a long time WM user and the company I work for has made Blackberry the standard platform. I am an Electrical Eng. and have a strong background in networking. I was wondering if anyone can address some of the issues I am having.

In contacts using BES wireless sync items like pictures, birthdays, spouse information, anniversary dates do not show up on the hand held. They are in Outlook and have always been in sync on pervious non Blackberry hand helds. I searched all the forums and this seems to be a known issue. Is this true?

Another thing that is really different is the way the Blackberry Syncs email. With Windows Mobile anything in the inbox was in sync with the hand held. If I add an email to my inbox from another source is shows up on the WM device. With the Blackberry is seems that only new emails show up on the hand held using BES. Is there a way to fix this?

Hi Sean, and welcome.

I can't speak to your BES question, since I don't use BES.

As I understand it, only new e-mails get pushed to a Blackberry device, unlike the iPhone and similar devices. If you can access Exchange via Outlook Web Access over the device, that is probably the closest you can come to seeing everything in your inbox.
