Default Hey everyone..Looking to buy..need advice!

Please Login to Remove!

Hey everyone,

I'm a VZW subscriber and am looking to take advantage of the buy ne get one deal they have going right now.I want to upgrade my wife and I fromour "regular" phones and step into the world of BB's.

What do YOU recommend for a phone that VZW carries? I have read that the Storm is kinda sluggish (the UI) so I wasn't sure if I should consider it.

What I want to do is Twitter,Qik,Geotag photos for flickr and of course email and browse the web.

My wife wants to be able to text, email, browse. Nothin too fancy from her.

Thanks for any advice or opinions you can offer.

I'm gonna buy this this Thursday so hopefully this forum is active enough to get me a few answers.

Take it easy.

The Curve series is a well developed platform without any problems and Verizon's 8330 comes with OS 4.5.

Wirelessly posted

I second that recommendation. The Curve is a solid device and has been around for a little while now, so you'll easily find tons of support on your new journey into the BB world. The Storm is a brand new device and has some kinks that will be ironed out over time, but I would not recommend someone new to the platform start there. Good luck and Welcome to the Forums.

Wirelessly posted (Its All About the U!)

I have the Curve. However, the Storm is supposed to be a bit more responsive than what it was before the holidays.
