Hello All....New to the forum and considering purchase of a Storm. Currently using a highly modded 700WX and traditionally a frequent browser of multiple WM Forums. I like the layout and screen size of the Storm. My only concern would be the loss of the QWERTY keyboard. I am willing to trade the wealth of free applications and tweaks that WM offers for a more reliable device with a larger screen. I will continue to read your forum to gain insight on things to be aware of prior to purchase.

All of the Verizon stores near me have at least 3 functional Storms on display. You should go play around with one. Personally, the touchscreen is not for me, but there are plenty of people here who are getting along just fine with it. I DO think that you will find the reliability of the Blackberry to be superior to that of a WM device. I have owned a 700wx and an HTC Mogul before purchasing my first BB, and will not be going back anytime soon.

Welcome to the forums!
