I currently have an alltel plan with a 2nd line that my older sister has. (I use an LG scoop) I have wanted to upgrade to a touchscreen phone for a while and then I came across the BB Storm. Unfortunately my phone upgrade isn't until Feb. How much is the cheapest Data/Web plan from Verizon if I wanted to keep my sister on my plan also? If you need more info just ask. Thank you!

One more quick question. I'm sure it's on here but I don't have enough time before lecture to look. If I am on Alltel and buy a BB storm off an alternative site, do I need to buy a data plan? I want to have the smartphone/pda aspect of it and I love the touchscreen. Unfortunately I don't have the resources to pay for the 29.99 a month data. Thank you!

(i understand that i won't be able to use the biggest features so don't go crazy)

Alltel is now Verizon I believe. And the Verizon policy is if you have a smartphone, you have to have the data plan for that phone, i.e. with a Storm, you will have to have a BB data plan.

okay thanks..I wasn't sure and I thought I had heard somewhere that if you still had a contract through Alltel you didn't need to have the plan.. Thanks!
