Default Used Company Phone help

I recently recieved an older model BB 8830 World Edition from my boss,and it was used by one of his previous employees at another company he owns,I have been able to reset the voicemail,and owners info,but can not reset the email address to mine.Iam a manager of a very popular live music club and need to be able to recive these.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have a BB data plan?

If the answer is yes, read our FAQ and look for how to set up email. If the device was on BES previously, you might need to remove the IT Policy. That is also in the FAQ.

Another article that you might find helpful is near the bottom, "Buying a BB from eBAY". Even though you did not buy it, it is still used device and the points there for the problems you might encounter and their solutions could be useful.
