Default Hello everyone. - 04-24-2006, 04:05 AM

hello, i have nextel service, im possibly get a blackberry 7100i tomorrow.
ill be getting the unlimited data usage pack, i have a huge fedex discount.
anyone have any advice on it?
a couple of my friends are saying the blackberries are crap and atleast upgrade to a i870.
is it possible to download AIM on to the BB?

ive been search around here and i keep hearing about RAMBLE, is it a free service that allows me to use AIM on the BB? does it charge me to send messges on it?

Each Blackberry has it's own, unique PIN or number assigned to it.

You can message back and forth to other Blackberry users using their PIN as the send to address.

Or download BlackBerry Messenger and it won't fill up your Inbox. You have to download a third party messenger application, such as Ramble IM, to be able to use AIM on some BlackBerries. I was fortunate enough to get around this on my 7100 series devices as they were already pre-loaded. Once you get it, you won't be able to put the thing down.

bussiness, personal?
always wanted a blackberry, my uncle let me use his 7250 the older big blue one for a week and loved it.
kept me organized alot more.

well my mom just got off the phone with nextel, were switching the account to my name(i was 17 when i got it, moving the account from her name to mine) so i can get my fedex discount, sad news that it will take 5 days to do the switch becuase they have to run a credit check on me.so ill have to wait on the BB.
