Hi, I just got an unlocked Blackberry 7100v and am in the throes of setting it up. As it was bought privately and not with a contract, vodaphone are unwilling to connect it to blackberry. I am currently operating on a vodaphone pay as you go sim card.

I am looking for ways to set it up to receive email and for internet access in the same way as my last smartphone.

Grateful for any advice.

Particular areas are:

Wap settings

GPRS Settings

How do I get the desktop manager to push my email without a carrier BEC access?

regards

Hi I had the same problems with O2, but upgraded my payg to contract so I could use the blackberry services. (Just waiting for the upgrade to be completed.) you can download the desktop software from blackberry.com
