Default Hi from Lancaster, PA, USA

Please Login to Remove!

First post here. I just wanted to see what it looks like.

I got my blackberry in December and after one week said "how did I ever survive without it?". I have 7105T and it is awesome. Just barely OK as a phone, but I don't talk on it that much. Maybe bluetooth will help.

I use it a LOT to receive emails from 5 different email accounts--not just yahoo, and including my own domain. I can reply to emails from my blackberry or just wait until I have desktop access. Email works really, really well!

I also have, at times, done a bit of text messaging and the display history is so good compared to a regular cell phone.

The web browsing is barely adequate, but it's there and it works when you have no other browser available.

This week I had some slack time at the office and BB was one of the areas I decided to learn about. Due to this forum I now have google maps working and even better--SSH. Way cool! I can authenticate to my home linux server using SSH and issue text commands. VPN is next!

Dirk

Anyway, I'm sure you will enjoy your BB *and* this forum. I've got a 8700 which I've had for about 3 weeks, very impressed.

Cheers
Mike

I have always wanted to travel to Philly to try authentic Philly Cheese Steaks.
