Question Any ex Treo 650 owners who now switched to BB 8700?

Please Login to Remove!

My decison has been made and I ordered my 8700 Crackberry to replace the annoying Treo 650.
Others ex Treo 650 users here?
How did you handle the transition?
Did you lay awake at night?
Do you try touching the screen but... nothing happens and it... feels weird?
Let a sista know!

Wirelessly posted (Cingular 7130c: BlackBerry7130/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

I went from an 8125 to a treo 650 to a 7130c. I don't miss it at all, and it only took maybe a day to get used to sure type. The fact that my 650 liked to restart itself randomly helped in the transition a lot.

I hear ya!
Does anyone know if there's an actual Treo 650 vs BB 8700 thread?

I have switched from my Treo 650 to a BB8700r. I still keep my treo around because I needed the medical software/apps in the Treo at my work. But it stays in my medical bag while my BB goes with me anywhere.

Actually, it works so well that I forget to make sure it gets things right. So then it says hey instead of get and people start hating on suretype.

I tried the unbranded OS and the Cingular OS had the reboots, Then it would freeze, and touchscreen is nice if ti was just a PDA. It gets so oily and I hate that. I now have an 8700c and It is the best. No laying awake at night, no regrets, just confusion as to why I didn't switch earlier!!!
