Hi,
I have just obtained my first BB???!!!
I am able to change the password, BUT it asks me for it every time I want to unlock keypad!! Can I de-activate this so its similar to mobile phone with key sequence?
Also can the light be brought on by key pressing rather than that timed button???!
Oh also is there a factory reset code???

For better control of the light, check out a free program called BBLight.

What do you mean by "factory reset code"? What are you trying to do?

In options / security you should be able to control the password. If you can not turn off the password, you possible have a BlackBerry with an IT Policy pushed to it, which will prevent that. Search "Remove IT Policy" on these boards for more information.

I have checked IT policy and it states none... I have no control on my password settings..
Im trying to reset enabled passwords as this is its factory setting....
