Default Hello from 4INFO

Hey fellow BB addicts!

Allow myself to introduce....myself. My name is Lee McArthur, and I am the product manager responsible for building our mobile applications for J2ME, Palm, and of course, blackberry.

We are just coming out of the startingblocks with this application, and have many plans for more applications targeted to niche users: think fantasy sports application, entertainment, etc.

We have strong partnerships with Gannett/USA TODAY, TV-Guide, and numerous sports and finance content organisations with buckets full of live, really valuable content that I know I would love to have on my 8700!

So, there it is, a brief welcome message from me. I am looking forward to contributing to the forum, and getting feedback from everyone about our current application, and more importantly, input into the roadmap of products I intend to have built for the blackberry community over the next 12 months.

Its good to be here!

Lee

Hello Lee,

I too would like to see a one button push to financial content including market data. On my PC I have a software which gives me information on my personal portfolio and also headline news from a couple of websites about the Industries I choose. I'd love to have such an application on my BB too. Giving me direct access to all the updated, real-time financial information on my BB.

Cheers.

Default Hello

Hello fellow BBerry fans. My name is Ray Edwards and I am a system administrator currently using BES 4.0. I have 4.1 loaded in a test environment and am just awaiting a good time to upgrade. Is there ever a good time to upgrade? I have about 1.6 years Bberry experience and about 3 years overall network admin experience. I look forward to expanding my knowledge from fellow users and perhaps sharing some bit of experience I may have.

There is a lot of truly qualified experts here. Looking forward to learning from all of you. I am a network engineer for Delta Airlines Operations group. I just got my first BB and my company has started to deploy them for director's and above. (Mine is personal not company issued). I do want to learn BES and eventually move on to a company that needs a admin. Welcome all of you.
