Default Hello from Arizona

Hello BlackBerry Power Users,
I知 new, obviously, but I知 not new to the on-line forum thing. In fact, I知 quite active on the Apple Discussions forum. Anyway, I知 really looking forward to learning from you folks before purchasing my first Blackberry. I have played around with the 7130c and 兎 and held the 8700c. The 8100 is clearly a step forward although I personally think it痴 too small for comfortable data entry. Likewise, I travel to Europe so Cingular really is the only cost effective option for me. Actually, based on my readings here, the upcoming 8800 may well be the best unit; for me anyway, but it痴 a bit down the road. Ok, I致e taken up enough of your time with my first post, so thanks in advance for all your help and insightful thoughts. Any advice on my purchase dilemma is appreciated.
Regards,

Welcome!

It boils down to a lot personal preference, really. Qwerty vs Suretype.

The 8700 is going to be the likely best bet if you're looking for the full keyboard. The potential 8800 should be great, but is months off, and likely to have a quirk or two when it hits.

If there are any other specific questions you've got, this will be the place to find the answers!

Thanks Pizzle,
I was beginning to think that my initial post was simply too boring to solicit a response. In any event, I do tend to lean more towards the larger screen and keyboard. Ixxx8217;m not a good typist nor am I a prolific writer, so Qwerty vs. SureType isnxxx8217;t so much a concern. In fact, I find the 8700 keyboard rather cramped. In any event, the 8700c looks and feels pretty nice. Thanks again for your kind words and purchasing advice.
Regards,

Was in AZ for the NBA playoffs a few months back...
Drropped by Pizzeria Bianco and ASU along the way...
Get an 8700 now, sell it and get an 8800 upon release...
