Hi,

I just got a new BBerry 8700 issued by my firm with Cingular as the carrier. It does not have a browser, I belive because the firm blocked it.

Is there any way to turn on the browser? I know its there, it just appears to be disabled.

Any help will be appreciated.

If your firm blocked it, then there is nothing you can do. I would suggest you contact your company tech support to find out for sure.

Incase they did,,t block it call cingular. When I first gone mine I was missing one of my browsers. They did a push with me on the phone. U will also need to power down, take out battery and put back in. BB will.reboot.

There's an easier way. Go to Options > Advanced > Host Routing Table and click "Register Now".

However, if your firm blocked browser usage, there's little you can, or should, do.

Contact your provider, and so long as you're paying for data service of some type, the provider should provision those services to your device.
