Not to throw this off topic but my wife is from Glasgow and I was wondering how the T-Mobile coverage is in Scotland?

my personal mobile is with T-mobile now, and i regret it. I have been with orange and O2 and both had much much better coverage than T-mobile. terrible coverage imho.

It's those darned krauts, they'll get you every time!

It's funny now that I think about it. You guys have so many more GSM providers than we do. We've got now, just Cingular and T-Mobile USA as the fully national providers. Then there's some smaller regional providers like Cellular One. Verizon and Sprint are both national CDMA providers and Nextel (a division of Sprint) is a national iDEN provider.

Sometimes I do wish we were on one standard like Europe just so I could get an unlocked phone and use it with anyone.
