After lurking here for the past 6 mos or so, I finally got my first BB and registered... now I have a couple of questions.

I was on sprint but i got an 8700g with t-mobile. The phone shipped with a number already and i plan on porting my number from sprint to tmobile.

Until I do that though, I thought i'd try out the new BB. My question is, if I register for an address of (username@tmo.blackberry.net), and then I change my number, can I retain that address, or will I need to change that as well?

First of all welcome to the forum!

Secondly, you will be able to retain your address, the mobile number bears no relation to this.
