Default New to Blackberry and question

Please Login to Remove!

I am a total rookie at this forum stuff, so bear with me.
Got my first and new Blackberry 7100i this week and am trying to learn about it. Blackberry help line has been very helpful, although I have to fight them to help me sometimes as I am a Nextel Partners user, and the two systems have not been merged yet. Can't wait for that to happen. All this coupled with the fact the learning curve is so long. Anybody know about any videos out there that are worth the price?

My first questions. I am not on an exchage server (small builder in the midwest) but do have email and internet service. I have received an email form RIM with a string attached that says do not deletemove or respond to it. I waited a few days and finally got tired of looking at it in my inbox so deleted it (shame on my). A couple days later I got another one. Called Blackberry Help and they told me it must stay for my email to work properly. It worked fine in between deletion and the new one. Can anyone tell me if it has to stay for real, and if so is there a way to hide it?

thanks.

Hi, first off welcome to the forums.

I myself had deleted those messages when I first got them. I have had no problems receiving email since.

Yes I received the same message when I first activated my email. It was because I accidently tried to access Enterprise Activation. I just deleted the messages and resumed as normal.

After having my BB a couple of years I have no clue where those messages went. Welcome to the world of BB. Call us not RIM.
