Default brand new here....

Hi all, new to the blackberry and the forum. I am learning loads here! I have two questions.

first, I configured my email and now I can send out email but can't receive any. Does anyone know why that is? Did I do something wrong?

second, this sms thing. So I can message anyone with a blackberry as long as I have their PIN # but does that cost me extra? Or does it come with the data plan?

BTW, I have a 7250 on Sprint.

Thanks!
Lisa

Welcome to BB Forums,
You may need to re-send your service books to get your email working.

You can PIN from one BB to another and this will not cost you extra.

Thanks. I read somewhere that the blackberry stuff is down today for maint. and others are having troubles with email also so I will wait till tomorrow. I did send the service books but no help.

I am getting one email from blackberry about my new email registration and I get it about every 15 minutes so its vibrating me to death!

I am now an addict along with the rest of you!!!

Welcome to the BB forum...

1. Try resending your service book.

2. SMS are for text messaging and you can text message anyone with an active cellphone. Second, you don't need SMS to PIN someone. All you need to have is a data service and you should be good to go.
