im new to this blackberry phone. i used to have a sk3 but got tired of it so i got rid of it. i havent got one yet but am getting one l8r on this week its either a 7230 or 7290 and i have a few question
for pop email such as yahoo mail do i need to have blackberry internet thing from tmobile the phone comp. i have?
what stuff is diferent from the sk3 to 7230 or 7290?
ehh i suggest you get something more like a 8700 because you going from the sk3 to the 7290 the internet speed is going to drop because the 7290 is only GPRS while the sk3 has EDGE support
the 8700 has EDGE and a nicer screen than the 7290 im not saying that the 7290 isnt a good device because it is, im just saying i would probably upgrade to seomething a little more up to par to the sk3
to get internet, email, and 3rd party apps. you will need a data plan and for tmo it is 19.99 and no it doesnt have unlimited text messaging so you will have to add that if you are a big texter
goodluck with the buy...you will be happy with a blackberry
On a learn curve too: I can only provide the general info. (7290 supports bluetooth and more international coverage... 7230 doesn't) I'm sure you'll enjoy your new phone either way!
