Talking New to BlackBerry and Pearl! :)

Please Login to Remove!

I'm new to all of this.. BlackBerry, the Pearl, T-mobile and! So far, I love all of it!! I've been a phone junkie for a long time, and I've worked in the wireless industry for over 8 years (mainly on the retail end, as an Operations Manager for a national multi-carrier agent). I've NEVER had a BlackBerry... until now. The Pearl caught my attention, and I returned my Samsung t629 for it within a week!! So far, I'm very impressed - not to mention disappointed that I hadn't switched over to RIM before... I've used Microsoft Windows Mobile, and it totally sucks compared to the BlackBerry software... well, it is Microsoft, after all (it's bad when you can get the blue screen of death on your PHONE)...

If anyone has any good suggestions on how to familiarize myself with BlackBerry, please let me know... I've read alot of the threads in several of the forums, and have gotten so far as to update my software to the o2 version.. now I'm ready to move on to bigger and better things... What are the tips and stuff?

Ok, time for me to go.. I've rambled on and on long enough.. I look forward to being an active member of the forums for many moons ahead.

Welcome aboard! I used to have Sidekick until I found out that the Blackberry can do more. So I end up getting rid of my Sidekick and got myself a Blackberry.

Now I have the Blackberry 8100 and I love it!
What OS are you using on the smartphone? Please vote!

Best way to familiarize yourself with the 8100 is to read through the 8100 forum. Welcome to the forums!
