Default New Pearl Owner with a question - 01-03-2007, 05:59 PM

Hello. After lurking on this forum and a few others, I went out and bought me a Pearl this weekend to replace my beloved Nokia 3650. After 4 days I'm loving this little guy.

I managed to answer several of my questions by searching the forums, including finding an IM client, getting Opera Mini to work (I love Opera on the PC also), and several others. To all the new people, use the search option. It's your friend.

One of the questions I couldn't find an answer to is this: I've chosen to use the Dimesion Today theme as my home screen. Is there a way to alter what appears on this list? I really don't need or have a use for the Call Log that appears, but I would like to see the Tasks that I still have to do. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know of a way to alter the theme, and I'm not sure it can be done. I do want to give you two thumbs up for using the search feature and finding answers to most of your questions... Way to go!

Default Another new pearl user, hopefully with an answer - 01-04-2007, 12:00 PM

I've found that the applications that show up on my "desktop" are those at the top of the list of applications. All you have to do is reorganize the list and move those applications you use on a daily basis to the top and the first 5 show up on the desktop.

Also, i remapped the camera button to load my address book since I rarely use the camera but always use the address book.

Thanks. I tried moving the applications around but it didn't seem to have an effect for my Theme. Maybe it works for some but not others?
