Cool New to Forum! Help! - 01-24-2007, 11:02 AM

Hi Folks,

I am a long time bb user, my wife has nicknamed by bb Roxanne and calls it the other woman, so you get the idea how addicted I am to it. I am brand new to the forum and am here because I am stumped. I have a t-mobile 8700g and it is DEAD; can't power it on. Can't turn it on though I can still sync it thru the desktop manager.

SHould I do a hard reset? If so how?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Gary in Tucson.

Folks, if this ever happens to you, do the most basic thing ever: take the battery out and re-insert it. Everything is OK now. Best regards, gary

Yep...Welcome to the forums,
You've just learned BB 101. When all else fails, remove the battery. Works for most common problems. Glad you're fixed! Losing such a close "friend" would be most difficult!
