Default New here: Inquiring about SE M600i??

Please Login to Remove!

Hey everyone,

I would like to purchase the SonyEricsson M600i, but I have been informed that because I live in Canada, there are a few issues I should look out for.

1)There is no support for this phone- so you are on your own.

2)Supposedly it is not compatible with the GSM Networks, or at least works inefficiently with, say Rogers. Is this true? Are there users here who live in Canada/Toronto specifically who can give me some feedback on their experiences with the M600i?

3)How easy is it to do the software updates/changes in order to make the phone work properly?

4)Would any of you suggest I do not purchase the phone because of other issues, not stated here?

5)Is Rogers, helpful if you purchase phones that they do not sell? Or is it again you are on your own??

I would like to get this phone, but if the cons outweigh the pros, I would more than likely purchase a BB.

Thanks all for your help!
