Matt here. I am new to these forums, and to the world of BlackBerry. I have been a loyal (to a fault!!) Treo user for many, many years, as well as member of TreoCentral (sorry).
I just recently switched jobs, and the company I work for mandates BlackBerry for anyone in the field (I am a Road Warrior). I was using a Treo 680 on Cingular, and was against BB because I did not know better.
I purchased the BlackBerry 8800 for Cingular, and am blown away by how much better, IMO, this device is than the Treo 680. The 8800 is Sooo much better, more stable and more reliable than my 680. There were a few things I missed the first few days - and I had to swallow deep because of all the apps I had for Treo....but I am not looking back!!!! I love the 8800, and if the 8300 drops for Cingular before June 20th, I will compare the 8800 I have now with the 8300, and make an exchange. I look forward to the wealth of knowledge that I am sure is available form the members here.
