Default Hello - 05-30-2007, 10:42 AM

Greetings from north east scotland.

Im James,

Im in a support role at work, but got thrown in at the deep end with BES and Blackberry's at the turn of the year.i.e. someone left.. and at that time IT hit the fan.

Used many devices 7900, 8700, pearl, 8800 and a week ago got a curve, which i love! 8800 was nice, but quite heavy, and didnt like the keypad.

Were running BES4.1 alongside Groupwise 7 so fun and games a pleanty!

Greetings, James, and Welcome to the Forum! I love that area of Scotland.

Can you tell me what you didn't like about the 8800 keyboard?

Sure,

They keys were too close together for me, the only way of telling you were on a key properly was the ridge on the edge of the key, and i have large fingers.

Dont get me wrong, i could type reasonably well on the keypad, i'd just have to double check i was hitting the right key now and again.

Appart from that it it was a very nice looking bit of kit,
