Default New to Blackberry! - 05-30-2007, 02:31 PM

Hi there,

I bought a 8830 on Saturday and it's pretty cool. I do have a few issues with it. One being the on line user guide is still not available. So I am working with it blindly. Kind of frustrating.
It's great phone when it works. Right now I can't dial out. I have to call the Verizon store again.

I hope all Blackberry's aren't like this otherwise I can't see why they are so popular.
I want to love it but until I get the user guide, it will only be a like it situation.

Peggy

Greetings and Welcome to the Forums.

8800 User Guides are there... very similar to the 8830. You can use it.

Hi Peggy,

Welcome to the BlackBerry world and to the forum.

To learn new things, you have to "unlearn" what you learned about mobile devices. BlackBerry is a totally different device to whatever device you were used to (especially if this is your first time to use a smartphone). Give yourself time to play .. to discover. Browse or search the many threads or topics that fits you. If you can't find anything, members in this forum would love to help you out.
