Had it about 2 hours now, still playing, its cool, still havent worked out where google messenger is or yahoo

or how to change alerts on profiles

madds, greetings and welcome to the forums.

Very likely Google and yahoo are not loaded from start, and you will need to download and install.
Instant Messaging FAQ - BlackBerryFAQ

Also, change alerts at your profiles, scroll down to ADVANCED and edit the ACTIVE profile. Remember to edit both IN HOLSTER and OUT OF HOLSTER.

BB 8800 running great now, dont want to start Opera mini though, it hangs on start up, and also , pocket mac synced once though dud not sync iCal but now hangs 50% through
