Default Hello From Philadelphia - 06-10-2007, 11:08 AM

Hello! I just recently got a Blackberry 8700g on a T-Mobile USA unlimited data plan. I have a verizon cell phone for voice calls but I wanted something for data as well. I must say, I am enjoying it quite a bit. The 15 minute lag between checking emails isn't too big of a problem, but I am getting all of my emails (no lost emails in processing). Surfing the web on the EDGE network is great.

T-Mobile USA coverage isn't too bad, but I must say it could use improvement. Some areas (like my house) only get 1-2 bars which is sufficient for my needs (receiving emails) but most of the areas that I have been in offer 3-max. I recently took a drive over to New Jersey and out into a town in the middle of bumble-ville, and to my surprise, I had T-Mobile full bar coverage, yet my verizon cell phone only had 1 bar. I presume this is because of T-Mobile's new 850mHz roaming deal with many rural northeast cellular carriers. *Applause to T-Mobile*.
I would like to see T-Mobile USA expand even more, and maybe even make some more deals with the rural carriers.

Like I said before, I recently joined the Blackberry community and T-Mobile and I am really enjoying the device and email/internet services.

Have a great day!
