Another new Blackberry User

Hi everyone,

I am new to the Blackberry world but they use them a lot where I work. I Just bought a Pearl and so far it's an awesome phone. Really nice to be able to get e-mail and everything right on the phone and have the internet access there as well. There are a few things I miss about my old phone with VZW but the reception is far better on this phone in my house than any phone we have had with VZW. Then again it has always been that way with T-mobile.

can people hear you when you call them? nobody hears me unless i plug in the headset? is this normal? ive only had the phone a couple of days.

Yeah people can hear me just fine. Haven't really had any issues with the phone. For some reason the battery life doesn't seem all that good. Less than half battery life at the end of the day. My friend gets like 3 days on his and I am sure he uses it a lot for texting and stuff.
