Welcome to the forums.
Without the Data plan, you won't be able to download apps off the net from the BlackBerry browser. You CAN download apps to your PC and load from your Desktop Manager - Application Loader.
There are lots of apps you can load that way--but with out the Data Plan, remember that any apps which use data (like BBWeather or BeamBerry or JiveTalk) are worthless to you. Here is a link, scroll down to "Third Party Applications" and you'll find a list of commercial and free applications. | Ditto! |
