Could someone tell me the best place to post about duplicate emails? It is happening on a variety of different models, so I don't want to post in a specific type of model forum.

Welcome! We can give it a shot here. Are you on BIS or BES? Is it happening with a Gmail account or other ones?

We do not use BIS or BES. We are running a Notes server and using POP3 to connect to it via Outlook, or on the Blackberry via the regular email setup on the Blackberry. We have contacted BB on several occasions and they say it is our mail server, but no one can really tell me what it might be on our mail server, so I have no idea where to start.

You have to be using one or the other. How did you configure the email account? Directly from your phone? If you did it's probably BIS.

Lets start by seeing what you have configured.

Options>Advanced Options>Service Books>

What email acounts to you see there?

Sorry for the delay, I had to contact one of the users for this info. There are two accounts, a nextel.blackberry.net account and an account for the user's work email. The blackberry.net account was added when troubleshooting with Blackberry.

The accounts are set up on the Blackberry. They do not use any desktop replicating software or the BES system.

Then it sounds like you have BIS (BlackBerry Internet Service) not BES, obviously. And what models (you mentioned it was a variety, above)?

Is the work email hosted with Google Domain hosting?

And do the duplicate emails come from both the work email accounts as well as the nextel.blackberry.net account?

The work email is not hosted with Google Domain hosting - it is on a Lotus Notes server within our corporate network.

They don't receive many emails on the nextel.blackberry.net account, but when they do it is not duplicated.

The models I know of today are the 7520 and the Pearl, although I'm told there are more but I do not have any details yet.

One, go to the BIS setup page then, on that carrier (do you have a variety of carriers or are they all Nextel?) and confirm that the BIS does not have an Auto BCC set for the messages, as well if there are any filters in place.

That would be the first thing to check. If you have this problem with a multitude of various carriers, not just nextel, then I am pretty certain there is some problem within your server.

We were finally able to get logged in and we checked both the Nextel and work accounts - neither is setup with an AutoBCC. Also neither has a filter in place.

The problem we are having is only occurring with Nextel as far as we know - we do not have any other carriers to test with.
