Hello to all.

I do not have a BB yet, as I am torn between the 8830 and 8703e. I have Verizon and have some hefty discounts towards my next phone. the 30 will be $99 and the 03e will be $49. I have read tons of reviews and just cant decide.

The multimedia would be really nice, but I could probably live without. The 03e looks like it is more popular with the things I have read so far, but the 30 looks pretty awesome as well, but there is no help manual with it? How difficult is it to use?

Any input for a first time BB owner?

I have no comment on your dilema...haven't used the newer models so I'll stay out of that discussion. Good luck with whatever choice you make.

Rebo, just get one, lol.

I have the equivalent models of both (8700 and 8800) and I really like both. I stick with the 8800 because of the SD card and gps (you won't have gps on the 8830 and if you ask why not, I will send my dog to bite you!). For a $99 deal, go with the 8830.

I just want the least amount of issues, both with start up and the near future of things.

Yes, you can play Tetris on the BlackBerry. I had downloaded a trial version from somewhere (I am using the 8700g).
