Please Login to Remove! The short version; I got a 7100t
The longer version; my interest was piqued by the 8830, and possibly having both a vzw and GSM phone together with an organizer (I've been struggling to find a solution to a dead unlocked GSM phone for my UK Vodaphone chip). Verizon would only sell the unlocked version at full retail ($519). A friend had a couple brand new 7100ts that his family didn't want to use and gave one to me, so I signed up for t-Mobile's unlimited plan at $30 a month. So I carry a phone and a BB. Not a problem for me.
I suppose my main ?s at this point are what to use as a decent address book and organizer without having to use Outlook. I have Mozilla Thunderbird and Sunbird but in searching through it looks like the only way is Plaxo.
I travel a bit and need to keep track of my travels and individual projects (which are generally only 1 or 2 day jobs). I'd like to be able to use 1 or 2 apps and not clutter up the BB with a whole bunch that aren't for me.
Just generally curious about how people go about things. I've learned quite a bit even just by scratching the surface of this website. |
